What this tool cannot tell you
Memory Room performs arithmetic on the values you provide. It does not measure a runtime or predict what will happen on a particular Mac.
Assumptions are yours
The runtime estimate, context/cache reserve, OS and app reserve, installed memory, and uncertainty band are user-entered or illustrative defaults. The output is only as relevant as those assumptions.
The range is not a probability
The uncertainty percentage widens and narrows the entire sum as a scenario band. It is not a statistical confidence interval, does not model observed variation, and is not based on a benchmark dataset.
No fit or performance guarantee
Positive headroom does not guarantee compatibility, successful loading, speed, quality, or stable operation. A deficit is a comparison against your estimated upper budget, not a hardware recommendation.
Download size is different
Download size uses disk space. This calculation does not use it, and does not infer runtime memory from model name, parameter count, quantization, or file size.
References have a narrow role
The supplied source links describe a model listing, API controls, and Mac hardware configurations. They are not runtime memory measurements. Source contents have not been independently rechecked for this stage.
